South Mountain Baptist Camp
June 27 - July 1 (will return to church at 12:00pm)

Registration April 1st thru May 15th
Registration fee of $85.00 is due at registration

There will be 24 spots for children


-it’s a 14/10 ratio so when one gender reaches 11 they can have 14, the other will only have 10 spots

 

Children should be fed before they arrive for departure on June 27th

 

Bring sign-up items on June 27th

 

Children’s Week at South Mountain is designed especially for children who have just completed the 3rd through 5th grades.

• What to bring to camp:
Bedding: Pillow, sleeping bag and/or sheets & blanket
Toiletries: Soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, towels, washcloths
Clothes: Play clothes, pajamas, underwear, shoes/socks, flip flops, jacket/raincoat
Bible, notebook, pen/pencil, money for mission offering & store/snacks
Swimsuit (girls must wear a one piece) and towel for the pool
Misc: flashlight, alarm clock, insect repellant, sunblock lotion
Optional items: fishing pole, softball glove, games or cards for the cabin

• What to leave at home:
Electronics, CD players, radios, iPods, handheld video games, cell phones, Alcohol or tobacco of any kind, weapons, fireworks, pets



• Dress Code:
For Girls: Modest, one-piece bathing suits only! (with stomach and sides covered). Shirts must have 2 straps, each at least 1 ½ in thick (about 3 fingers across), should NOT be low-cut, skin tight or see through, should always cover your stomach (with arms lifted). Shorts should be at least fingertip length and (including pants) should not show underwear-even when bending over. Skirts/Dresses should meet the above sleeve requirement and have a hem no more than 4in above the knee.

For Boys: Shirts should be worn at all times except when swimming. Sleeveless shirts should only expose your arms, nothing else. Pants/Shorts should fit your waist, which means your underwear will not show. Please wear swim trunks to the pool.

 
Chaperon?
If you are interested is chaperoning during summer camp please contact Pastor Jeff. He will conduct interviews during the registration period. Chaperons attend camp free of charge.
